What does the lifetime warranty cover?
The Union Window Films lifetime warranty covers tint installed by Shady Tintz against cracking, bubbling, delamination, and fading. If a problem comes up, just come back to us.
Is your tint the same as "factory tint"?
No. Factory tint is a dye in the glass that does little against UV rays or infrared heat. Our film goes on the glass and blocks UV, reduces heat, and cuts glare.
How do I clean tinted windows?
Use a soft, non-abrasive cloth. Avoid ammonia cleaners and blade scrapers.
Can you tint in wet or cold weather?
Yes. Modern adhesives work in any Yuba City weather; curing may just take a little longer.
How long should I keep my windows rolled up?
At least 7 days after installation, so the film can set.
Why does old tint turn purple and bubble?
